As the Millennium approached, horror was becoming an unusual commodity. Low budget horror films flooded the home video market while their big budget counterparts took hold at the box office. It seemed that a balance could not be found that would please everyone. In the final months of 1999, horror was saved by a film that became a turning point in many aspects – including film production, film marketing and film distribution. One film was a revelation of cinema which shook the world at the time and created such panic and fear that the effects of the film can still be felt today. Film-maker Russ Gomm takes a look at the phenomena of THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT through the eyes of a fan who was captivated by the unusual promotional strategy that led up to the release. This book takes a trip back in time to the 1990s to uncover the history of the production of the film including a unique making of and its path to success. Through conversations with fellow fans, filmmakers and other industry professionals, the book also examines the lasting effect that this seminal film had on not only the audiences, but the film industry itself and indeed the future of the horror genre. Bonusmaterial: Deleted Scenes: Pinch Me, Doc's Personal Belongings, She's Cheating, Darth Vader (Extended Version), Hit Me George, You Got A Permit?, The Phone Booth; Deleted Scenes with Commentary; Tales From The Future: In The Beginning; Tales From The Future: Time To Go; Tales From The Future: Keeping Time; Archival Featurette: The Making Of Back To The Future; Archival Featurette: Making The Trilogy: Chapter One; Archival Featurette: Back to the Future Night; Michael J. Zurück in die Zukunft 2: Die Kritiker und das Publikum waren mit dieser Fortsetzung des großen Publikumerfolges aus dem Jahre 1985 nicht allzu glücklich. --Tom Keogh Bonusmaterial: Deleted Scenes ; Deleted Scenes with Commentary; Tales From The Future: Time Flies; Tales From The Future: The Physics of Back to the Future with Dr. Michio; Archival Featurette: The Making of Back to the Future Part II; Archival Featurette: Making The Trilogy Chapter Two; Behind-The-Scenes: Outtakes; Behind-The-Scenes: Production Design; Behind-The-Scenes: Storyboarding; Behind-The-Scenes: Designing The Delorean ; Behind-The-Scenes: Designing Time Travel; Behind-The-Scenes: Hoverboard Test; Behind-The-Scenes: Evolution of Visual Effects Shots; Photo Galleries; Production Art; Additional Storyboards; Behind The Scenes Photographs; Marketing Material; Character Portraits; Theatrical Trailer; Q&A with Director and Producer; Feature Commentary; Thank You Piracy Trailer. Back to the Future: The future for 17-year-old Marty McFly is not shaping up well. His family is dysfunctional, his schoolteacher, Mr Strickland, is out to get him, his music is just too loud and the rest of the world doesn't care. Only with his girlfriend, Jennifer Parker and local eccentric scientist, Dr Emmet Brown does he find the encouragement and excitement he needs. Never in time for his classes or his dinner, one day Marty wasn't in his time at all but having the time of his life. But what time is it? Marty got home early last night - 30 years early. One of the not-so-crazy scientist's experiment went slightly wrong and Marty was caught up in it to find himself at the wheel of a DeLorean car - converted into a time machine. It roars back to 1955 where he meets his parents when they were his age and sets out to make a man out of his dim-wit father. Marty and Doc once again climb into the Delorean and travel back to the future in an attempt to put 1985 and their lives back to normal. The exhilarating visit by Marty and the Doc to the year 2015 seemingly resolves a few problems with the future McFly family. But when the two return home, they soon discover someone has tampered with time to produce a nightmarish Hill Valley, 1985. Their only hope is to once again get back to 1955 and save the future. Back to the Future 3: At the end of the second sequel, the Delorean breaks down in a thunderstorm and the Doc is whisked away to a mystery destination. Marty must travel to 1885 to rescue Doc from a premature end. Surviving an Indian attack and unfriendly townsfolk, Marty finds Doc Brown the blacksmith. Nightbreed

From the mind of writer/director Clive Barker – the macabre visionary responsible for Hellraiser and Candyman – comes Nightbreed, a nightmare-induced fantasy set in a world like nothing you’ve ever experienced before… one which will leave you questioning who the real monsters are. By night, Aaron Boone (Craig Sheffer, Teen Wolf) dreams of Midian, a hidden subterranean world where monsters have created a haven from humanity. Under pressure from his girlfriend Lori (Anne Bobby, Born on the Fourth of July), he attends psychotherapy sessions, unaware that his shrink, Dr Decker (Videodrome director David Cronenberg), is setting him up to take the fall for a series of violent murders. Convinced he no longer belongs in the human world, Boone goes in search of Midian – not realising that the real killer has plans for both him and the colourful cast of outsiders who call it home… The victim of studio interference and an unrepresentative marketing campaign, Nightbreed was poorly received by critics on its initial release and failed to ignite the box office, but has since undergone a radical reappraisal. Arrow Video is proud to present two versions of this depraved cult classic: the studio-approved theatrical cut and the reconstructed, reinvigorated director’s cut, for the ultimate nightmarish viewing experience. 2-DISC SPECIAL EDITION CONTENTS High Definition Blu-ray™ (1080p) presentations of the 120-minute director’s cut, transferred from the original camera negative, and the 102-minute theatrical cut, transferred from the original interpositive Lossless 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio and uncompressed 2.0 PCM audio on the director’s cut Uncompressed 2.0 PCM audio on the theatrical cut Optional English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing New audio commentary on the theatrical cut by critics Adrian J Smith and David Flint Audio commentary on the director’s cut by writer/director Clive Barker and restoration producer Mark Alan Miller Introduction to the director’s cut by Clive Barker and Mark Alan Miller Walking the Line Between Heaven and Hell, a new video interview with critic Kat Ellinger Memories of Midian, a new video interview with actor Nicholas Vince Speaking up for the Monsters, a new video interview with critic Kim Newman Tribes of the Moon: Making Nightbreed, an extensive documentary on the making of the film, featuring actors Craig Sheffer, Doug Bradley, Anne Bobby and many more Making Monsters, a documentary on the film’s creature designs, featuring special makeup designer Bob Keen Fire! Video Marketing That Doesn't Suck: The Punk Roc...

Video marketing sounds scary. I know, I used to be terrified of it. I used to think, "Oh God, the gear is so expensive, and I have to learn how to become a video editor, and I hate to be on camera, and when I upload videos to YouTube unstable, sociopaths will leave nasty comments that will sabotage my business." But then the recession came, and I quickly realized: video marketing represents the fastest, cheapest, most effective way to get tons of traffic to your website, boost your email list, increase the exposure of your brand, and break through people's resistance and come to trust you as an authority in your industry. And all it takes is somebody pointing you in the right direction, and helping you avoid some of the more common video marketing mistakes. And that's what Video Marketing That Doesn't Suck can help you do. "This book lays out easy-to-understand concepts and discusses how to implement ideas to make and promote videos in a warm, irreverent, and incredibly helpful way." (Art Maines, LCSW - author, Scammed: 3 Steps to Help Your Elder Parents and Yourself)"A very well thought-out and researched 'how-to' guide that goes into all the details of maximizing video production and promotion." (Teresa Haase - co-owner, "His Nibs" luxury fountain pen supplier)"Simple and clear language for general readers seeking guidance on video marketing tools." (Kayla Wilson - director of programmatic partnerships, InMobi) 1. Language: English. Narrator: Greg Zarcone. Audio sample: http://samples.audible.de/bk/acx0/009584/bk_acx0_009584_sample.mp3.
